Hello, We're New Around Here...
And we'd like to introduce ourselves.
We are the new newsletter for Seattle CUUPS . And we have some good things in store for you. Although we think Seattle CUUPS is the best thing since sliced bread, we want to offer what we have to the larger Pagan community of Seattle. So, although you will find news of our doings here and on our calendar , we also have events of the larger community listed.
We have something here for everyone, from the newcomer to the experienced Pagan. We have articles on ritual and divination. Our kitchen witch has cooked up some lovely potions for us, including a Cold and Flu Tea that sounds yummy as well as helpful, just what we need for the coming winter months. Dryada has ideas for Samhain ritual if you can't attend some of the events on our calendar. Our mistress of divination has one specifically for Samhain using...mashed potatoes?
We are also focusing on Pagan arts and crafts. Our art gallery has some lovely photos this time, but we are looking for more contributions from the greater community. Check out our articles, too. So come on in, get a potion to drink, get comfy, and set a spell. Lots of good stuff in here.
Special Yule issue for Cross-Quarters
Although our intention is to publish quarterly , we had so much material for Samhain we used up our alloted pages for the print edition before we ever got to the Yule part. We have therefore decided to put on a special Yule edition, filled with all the good things of Yule. So get out your favorite recipes, craft ideas, stories, poems, etc. and submit them to us. I know, it's early to be thinking about Yule, but then again, Macy's has their Christmas shop up and running. We will publish our Yule issue at Samhain, so you'll have plenty of time to use the recipes and craft ideas.
Cross-Quarters wants YOU!
Yes, you over there. We want you. We need contributers and volunteers. There are some wonderful people out there in the greater Seattle Pagan community, and we want your talent. So if you have some talent or time, drop us a line at editor@crossquarters.org .Submit to us, you know you want to. And if you have a couple of bucks, you could hit the Paypal button over there and help us pay the bills. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to charm our way out of paying for bytes and dead trees yet.
